Lucas Rockwood

Lucas Rockwood

Lucas Rockwood is a licensed psychologist practicing in Morristown, New Jersey. He received his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. He currently works at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital (GPPH) where he is the psychologist for an inpatient unit focusing on the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder. In addition to working at GPPH, Dr. Rockwood maintains a private practice in Morristown, New Jersey. His primary theoretical orientations include Cognitive Therapy for individuals with short-term/acute problems and Schema Therapy for individuals with more pervasive/lifelong problems. He is an Advanced Certified Schema Therapist/Supervisor. His clinical specialties include providing individual psychotherapy for individuals experiencing symptoms of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and relationship problems. Dr. Rockwood has also been a therapy supervisor for psychology pre-doctoral interns for over seven years.

Teresa Reitz, LCSW, RPT-S is a licensed clinical psychotherapist who provides individual, group, and family therapy. She provides services to children, adolescents, and adults and has been practicing for nearly 20 years in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient clinics, foster care agencies, hospitals, and psychotherapy group practices. Her areas of specialization include Anxiety and Depression, Parenting Support, Grief and Loss, Stress Management, and Trauma. Teresa is also a Registered Play Therapist and Play Therapy Supervisor through the Association of Play Therapy. Teresa’s approach with adolescents and adults is based on her Advanced level training in Schema Therapy through the NY/NJ Schema Therapy Training Institute.

Lissa Parsonnet has been practicing schema therapy for over 20 years. She is an Advanced Certified Schema Therapist/Supervisor. Prior to being in full time private practice, Dr. Parsonnet was the Director of Psychosocial Support Services and Cancer Program Management at the Saint Barnabas Cancer Center. She also served as Assistant Director of Social Work at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Parsonnet has lectured and published in the field of psychosocial oncology. “My special areas of focus include working with patients and families faced with cancer or other medical illness. I also work with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, as well as people who find it difficult to adjust to life transitions or achieve satisfaction from their lives.”

Kathleen Newdeck

Kathleen Newdeck has over 20 years experience as a schema therapist and cognitive-behavioral therapist. She is also an Advanced Certified Schema Therapist/Supervisor. “I enjoy treating adults, individuals and couples. I have a particular interest in the area of anxiety, panic, depression, and stress related to coping with change and dealing with interpersonal challenges.”
