About Scott Shapiro

Scott Shapiro, MD, graduated from Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital Residency Program. In addition, he completed his Medical Internship at Harvard Medical School’s Mount Auburn Hospital. He is an Advanced Certified Schema Therapist, specializing in Adult ADD/ADHD, psychotherapy and medication management. He enjoys working with people in a warm, interactive, and relaxing environment to maximize progress. Dr. Shapiro has experience treating people working in various industries including: medicine, finance, law, and education, as well as those with multiple roles of parent, student, and professional. He understands the unique challenges of living with ADD/ADHD. He also believes that all people deserve quality mental health care and is the Founder and Director of the non-profit organization: Milestones-NYC, matching pro bono mental health providers to New Yorkers in need.
